In 1981, shortly after immigrating from Syria, Ed and Violette Younes opened the original Aladdin Restaurant on 2nd Street in Allentown with the simple idea of serving authentic middle eastern cuisine. They had great success on 2nd St, and after 18 years they expanded to the current location here on Union Boulevard, launching what has since become the Lehigh Valley's premier Middle Eastern fine dining restaurant.

Although Ed passed away in 2000, his legacy of exceptional taste and hospitality continues to live on through Violette and their daughters. Thank you for being a part of our family for over 40+ years!
